Of course, there are all of the high end games which the best casinos offer as well; roulette, poker, baccarat, blackjack and for fun, bingo. Club Regent Casino also offers party pits, which are the hottest spots to have the most fun of all with gaming, music and dancing.
This casino doesn’t let the enjoyment stop there. They have an event centre that seats 1400 with great international music, theatre and comedy acts. Club Regent has its own excellent restaurant, but the attached Canad Inns Hotel offers a range of eating options at their top class restaurant as well as a tavern, pizza bar, and other offerings. If you’re visiting Manitoba and you want top notch gambling, accommodation and entertainment all in one great package, Club Regent Casino has to be your first pick.
South Beach Casino and Resort
Scanterbury
With a surprising name for a Casino located so far north, South Beach Casino may surprise you in other ways. Located on the shore of Lake Winnipeg, it offers excellent gaming with over 600 slot machines including 563 penny slots, live poker, black jack, roulette, Midi Baccarat and Fortune Pai Gow.
Not only a casino but also a very well appointed resort, it offers a full-service restaurant, an informal café where you can get sandwiches and browse the internet, as well as a bar lounge, serving food and providing live entertainment. The restaurants offer a number of excellent deals for children and seniors, making this a welcoming and family friendly venue. There is also a beautiful pool in an art deco setting that features a cascading waterfall to provide fun for everyone.
With annual events such as car and motorcycle shows, there is always something to do. As the resort offers outstanding ‘stay and play’ deals and special promotions during holidays such as Mother’s Day, it’s a perfect place to plan a visit for the whole family.
Sands Hill Casino
Carberry
One of Manitoba’s newest casinos, this casino is a bit off the beaten path. Located in a small town just 30 minutes from Brandon, the second largest city in Manitoba, and a major hub for trade and commerce, Sands Hill Casino has become a popular destination for locals.
The casino offers at least 300 slot machines, black jack and roulette as well as Texas Hold ‘em. With great promotions every day for their Gold Club Members as well as regular free play giveaways, it’s no wonder people flock from the surrounding towns to play.
No casino is complete without a good restaurant and entertainment and Sands Hill does well at both. Their buffets get consistently good reviews, with prime rib nights and a champagne brunch on Sundays. Free, live entertainment tops it all off, making this a great night out for serious gamblers or just a group of friends looking for something different. The casino even offers bus services to make sure that people can eat and drink to their hearts content and get home safely.
Aseneskak Casino
Opaskwayak
Owned in partnership by six First Nations, the Aseneskak Casino can be found in the northern wilds of Manitoba and is perfect for a gambling getaway. Close to the Saskatchewan River, neighboring the Opaskwayak Cree Nation, you won’t find a better place to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
With poker and blackjack tables and over 160 slot machines, this small, but perfectly formed casino is open seven days a week. This unique casino, which is decorated throughout with authentic First Nations artwork, has dining and entertainment onsite. On Wednesdays and Saturdays, they have Texas Hold ‘em tournaments which are always popular.
This is a favored stop for RVers and for people visiting The Pas, one of the region’s oldest settlements just a mile or so from the casino. Here you’ll find The Kikiwak Inn and Wescana Inn, both of which offer ‘stay and play’ packages.
