This slot has an unusual bonus symbol called the “Gem Splash” that, when utilized, can reap ultimate rewards. During your spin, there’s a chance that a green gem drop symbol could fall onto the reel. If a purple gem splash doesn’t activate it, it’ll continue to fall down the reel until it disappears from sight.

The GD symbol can carry a value of 1x-100x your bet but it’s not worth anything until it lands on top of a splash symbol. Because the GDs take multiple spins to exit the reel, there’s the possibility that it can land on more than one splash and pay out more.

Game Symbols

The slot symbols follow the lucky Irish theme, with classic card icons representing the lowest values. The Ace, King, Queen, and Jack offer a prize of 1x your wager for five matches. The pipe pays 2x, the harp 3x, the horseshoe 4x, and the leprechaun 6x. Meanwhile, the gold pot scatter symbol rewards 50x for a match of five symbols.

Bonus Rounds & Free Spins

The bonus round is full of exciting gameplay not seen on other slot games. When three scatters match on the reel, you’ll receive eight free spins and enter into a particular screen.

The gem drops that appear during the round grow to increase the chance that they’ll cover a purple gem. Every two of your eight free spins, the reels expand, eventually reaching seven rows and fifty paylines.

As simple as the gameplay may seem, some players might find the volatility and unique bonus features a bit complicated. That said, once you get the hang of it, Gem Splash can be loads of fun. You’ll need to decide for yourself, though. Here are a few pros and cons of the game:

Gem Splash: Rainbows Gift is a slot game with high volatility but abundant in opportunities to find the gold at the end of the rainbow. Whether you collect bonus gems, cash in on free spins, or land yourself one of three progressive jackpots, you’ll never get bored.
