North Guardians Slot

North Guardians is a Norse-themed video slot designed by Pragmatic Play. The game is played on a 5x5 grid layout with 50 paylines where Vikings battle during a blizzard. In addition, the slot offers an RTP of 96.38% and can reward players with 5,000 times their stake.

You can join the battle via your mobile devices, and the bet amount ranges between C$0.5 and C$100. The slot’s reels are set on frozen land. So you need to come prepared as it’s not the battle for the weak.

When it comes to bonus features, Pragmatic Play’s North Guardians doesn’t disappoint. Below are the features on offer.

Game Symbols

You’ll find 11 regular symbols on the reels. They include low-rewarding characters represented by runic objects worth 0.48 to 0.8 times your bet for 5 symbols on the payline. Additionally, there are mid-value symbols like shields, coins, horns, and axes worth 1.2–3.6 times your stake for landing 5 of these.

Lastly, the two most-valued symbols are the male and female Viking, offering up to 6–10 times your bet. The wild symbol resembles Odin – it substitutes any symbols and can pay out 15 times your stake for landing 5 on the reels.

Wild Patterns Wheel

This is the main attraction of the game. Two halves of a Viking rune land in the same position to create a complete rune that unlocks the wild wheel. This can add multiple wilds to the grid in a random pattern.

You can upgrade the number of wilds by landing the rune in a level-up position, allowing you to spin the wheel again. The feature has 5 levels.

Free Spins

Landing 3, 4, or 5 scatters (the free spins symbol) to get 5 free spins and a cash win of 2, 10, or 100 times your bet. Here, the Wild Pattern Wheel is active on any spin. It starts on level 1 and then moves up. When moving to levels 2, 3 or 4, players receive extra 2 free spins each time.

Buy Free Spins

You can trigger the free spins round by hitting the Bonus Buy button. However, it costs 100 times your bet and reduces the RTP by 0.09%.
